Services for Stanley Arthur Payne, 60, Navy veteran of World War I and a native of Newport, will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Radel funeral home, Newport. He died Monday at Veterans Hospital, Lexington, after a long illness. He was employed as a collector on the Central Bridge, Newport, 10 years, before being hospitalized. He made his home at 316 E Third street, Newport.
He leaves a brother, George Elmer. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Payne, Newport.
