Stanley S Ross, whose promotion to lieutenant Colonel at Sparta Wisc. was announced in telegraphic dispatches Thursday, is a graduate of Ft Thomas High School. He enlisted as a private 19 years ago. While stationed in the Philippine Islands, he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant. He is a brother to Dr. L L Ross, Sixth st. Newport, who also is a trustee of Ft Thomas.
