APPOINTMENT-Captain Sidney B Jones, of this city, one of the heroes of Mill Springs, has been appointed Lieutenant Colonel of the Thirty-second Kentucky Regiment. The organization already numbers about four hundred men, we learn.

APPOINTMENT BY THE GOVERNOR-Sidney B Jones, of this city, has
been appointed Lieutenant Colonel of the Twenty-third Regiment Kentucky Reserve
Militia.
He is instructed to divide the county into major and company districts, and organized the militia at once.
