Dr. S P Garrison, 68, one of Campbell county's oldest practicing physicians, was reported critically ill at Speers Hospital Monday. He entered the hospital Saturday after having been a patient at University Hospital, Columbus O. He was stricken several weeks ago.

Dr. Garrison is a past president of the staff of Speers Hospital and is vice president of the hospital's Board of Trustees and president of the School of Nursing. He is one of the few northern Kentucky doctors to be honored as a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. In 43 years of practice, he has delivered more than 3000 babies. Dr. Garrison makes his home at 55 Bivouac place, Ft Thomas and has offices at 701 Fairfield avenue, Bellevue.

Dr. S P Garrison, 67, of 55 Bivouac place, Ft Thomas, president of the Nurses Training School at Speers Hospital, died early Thursday at the hospital where he had been confined for several days. Vice President of the board of trustees at Speers, he was a member of the staff at the hospital and a member of the American College of Surgeons. He was a native of Cincinnati.

He leaves his widow; Mrs. Bessie Garrison; two sons, Edward and Arthur at home; a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Glass, Ft Thomas; a brother, Walter Garrison, Cincinnati; two sisters, Miss Bessie and Nellie Garrison, Cincinnati and two grandchildren. Services will be held at the A C Dobbling Funeral Home, Ft Thomas, at 10:30 am Saturday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm Friday.

Prominent Campbell county physicians, close friends and relatives will serve as pallbearers for the funeral at 10:30 am Saturday of Dr. S P Garrison, Ft Thomas, at the A C Dobbling Sons funeral home, Bellevue. Acting pallbearers will be: Dr. O A Frickman, Louis Brunner, Preston Garrison, Stuart Garrison, Harwood Garrison, and Walter Morris.

Honorary pallbearers will include: Drs. Luther Bach, J L Phythian, Ed Hermann, C H Zwick, R J RUst, E M Britenberg, J S Faulkner, W A Foertmeyer, E G Heiselman and William Huesing.

Dr. S P Garrison, well known Campbell county physician, who died last week, left an estate valued at $30,000, according to his will filed Thursday with County Clerk George J Kaufmann. The estate is left to his widow, Bessie, after their three children are given $2000 each. A son, Edward, is names executor. The will was drawn Jan 25, just prior to Dr. Garrison's death.
