NEWPORT
Mrs. Sarah C Scarlett, wife of Mr. J A Scarlett, died at an early
hour yesterday, at her residence, on York street.
The many friends of J A Scarlett the well known and popular manager of R G Dun & Co Mercantile Agency in Cincinnati, will regret to learn of the death of his estimable wife, which occurred at her home in Newport early yesterday morning.
Her loss will be deeply felt by her friends, to whom she had endeared herself by her gentle manners and kindly sympathies, but the loss to her husband and little ones, to whom she had ever been a faithful wife and loving mother, is irreparable.
