The election of a Principal for the Newport High School in Newport to succeed Prof. W A Caldwell, resigned, will be held by the school solons in June at the regular teachers election. It is understood that the board contemplates electing one of its female teachers to that place and that Miss Sallie Immegart will be chosen.
Miss Immegart now teaches the eighth grade and has a wonderful control over her pupils. Should she be elected Principal there will be an election to fill her place in the eighth grade.
