William Nelson Relief Corps No 2 and William Nelson Post No 1 GAR, will conduct services Sunday for Samuel G Revel, 731 York st. Newport, who died Thursday. Members of both organizations will meet at 2 pm at the home. Funeral services for Revel will be held Monday at 2 pm from the home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Henry Clay Lodge No 4 will hold services for Revel Sunday at 2 pm at Fennell Hall, Newport. Revel was a Civil War veteran and served in Co H Third Kentucky Infantry during Sherman's march to the sea. His widow, one daughter and two sons survive him. He was born Feb 7, 1845.*

Mrs. Martha E Revel, widow of Samuel Revel, Civil War veteran, died yesterday at her home, 146 N Ft Thomas avenue, Ft Thomas, after a short illness. Mrs. Revel was 87. Funeral services are to be held Saturday. Mrs. Revel was one of the oldest members of the First Baptist Church, Newport. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Runnel, with whom she lived; tow sons, David, Cold Spring, and Vernor, Dayton and a brother Taylor Sprague, Mentor Ky.
