BELLEVUE
Samuel Hays died at his home on Fairfield av. Saturday evening of rheumatism and other complications. The deceased had been a resident of this city for a quarter of a century. He was the proprietor of Hays Ball Park, known as the Bellevue Browns grounds andwith his sons was engaged in the meat business.
He leaves six children, three sons and three daughters, all married. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at Evergreen Chapel, Rev Bigelow will officiate.
