NEWPORT
Cashier Dank's Funeral
The funeral of Cashier Samuel G Danks, of the Newport National
Bank, took place yesterday afternoon, with services at the Grace M E Church, Rev
B R Wilburn officiating. The edifice was completely filled with sorrowing
friends and relatives of the deceased.
Rev Wilburn delivered a very touching address, alluding to the excellent character of the deceased. The Masons and Odd Fellows, to both of which lodges Mr. Danks belonged also conducted services.
The remains were interred at Evergreen.
