Circuit Judge Hodge, of Newport, has appointed Attorney Samuel C Bailey as Trustee of the Taylor estate in Campbell County, to succeed the late W H Harton, who died a few weeks ago,. The affairs of the estate will wind up in a short time, as there is very little outstanding to close up.
The estate at one time was about the largest in Newport when the late Gen. Taylor died. Since that time the property he left has been sold and the entire eastern portion of Newport beyond Washington has been built up.
