Mr. Sam Thrush, one of the Clerks of the steamer Henry Fitzhugh, died at his residence in Newport, yesterday of fever, after a short illness. He left here with the boat, but returned home from Louisville, owing to the illness which terminated in death.

In Newport Ky. on the 19th instant, died Samuel L Thrush, of congestive fever, in the 35th year of his age. The funeral will take place from his late residence on Monmouth, between Eglantine and Front streets, this afternoon (21st) at 3 PM. the friends of the family are invited to attend, without further notice.
