Obituary
S. R. Randall died February 17, 1866 at his residence, Campbell County, Kentucky, aged seventy-six years nine months and a few days.
He was a soldier in the war of 1812. He moved from the East and settled on Licking River, near the place where he died, a number of years ago.
He was a member of the Baptist Church. The great doctrines of grace, as held by the Church, he firmly believed, and obtained much comfort from them during his long-laden years of affliction; but now, we trust, he enjoys the blissful "rest that remaineth for the people of God." He leaves three sons and two daughters, a companion, and many friends, to mourn his absence. But, dear friends, remember he is but absent from you "to be present with the Lord." Our confidence is unfeignedly tendered to yours. T. W. B. D&W
