Sam E Anderson, Republican candidate for Circuit Court Judge in Campbell County, was born in Newport 37 years ago. After going through the public school of Newport, he graduated at the Hughes High School of Cincinnati and later from the Cincinnati Law School. He has been practicing attorney for the past 14 years, the greater part of that time being associated with Hon. James C Wright.

Mrs. John R Anderson, 65, mother of Campbell co. Master Commissioner Samuel Anderson, died at 9 am this morning at the residence, Ninth and Washington av. Newport from la grippe. She was well known in Campbell co. and had been a resident of Newport for several years before living in Newport, resided near Alexandria Ky. The funeral will be held Saturday.
