Ruth C Clark Windgassen, 88, of California, died Wednesday, at St Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood. She was a homemaker, an operator with Cincinnati Bell and a member of the Grants Lick Baptist Church. Her husband, William A Windgassen preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters, Eileen WIndgassen Utz of Butler, Carl Windgassen Dawson of Union, and Lois Windgassen Summey of Mooresville NC, sisters Elsie Lecher and Edith Hamer both of Greensburg Ind.; six grandchildren and four great-grand children.
Services will be held at 11 am Monday at Alexandria Funeral Home, Visitation will be from 4 to 6:30 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Alexandria Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Grants Lick Baptist Church, 941 Clay Ridge Road, Alexandria Ky 41001; or St Elizabeth Hospice, 483 S Loop Road, Edgewood Ky. 41017.
