NEWPORT
ACCIDENT-Dr. Russ Haynes, the well known homeopathic physician of
this city, met with a serious accident yesterday morning, while making his
customary visits to this patients. The horse upon which he rode, becoming
frightened at some object, reared and fell upon the Doctor, injuring him quite
severely, though not dangerously.
If it had not been for the mud with which our city abounds and into which he was so unceremoniously huried, the accident would have proved more serious than it did.
