Russell Anderson, principal of Highlands High School, Ft Thomas, since April 1941, has resigned to accept a postion with the Bituminous Coal Producers Advisory Board with offices in Cincinnati. Mr. Anderson, a veteran of 19 years school work with the exception of two years, during which he served in the Pacific with the Navy and earned a commission as lieutenant, has been in the Ft Thomas school system for the past 12 years.
He followed Russell E Bridges in the principals post at Highland when Mr. Bridges was named superintendent of the Ft Thomas Schools. It was announced Thursday that the vacated position as Highland principal will be filled by Everly Hammack, formerly principal of Morganfield Ky. High School.
