The 20th anniversary of the founding of the Ft Thomas Lodge No 808, Free and Accepted Masons will be celebrated next Saturday night with a program and the conferring of the Master Mason degree on two classes of candidates. The lodge which began in 1908 with 39 members, now has a membership over 400. The present officers of the lodge are: Dr. Roy Beckett, junior deacon.

Services for Dr. Roy Beckett, 72, former Ft Thomas dentist, who died at Holy Cross Hospital, Ft Lauderdale, will be held at 2 pm Monday at the Dobbling Funeral Home, Ft Thomas. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Dr. Beckett, whose home was at 4130 N E 12th avenue, Pompano Beach Fla. was a native of Butler.

Past Commander of Robert D Johnson Post, American Legion, Ft Thomas, he served as a first lieutenant in the Dental Corps during World War I. A graduate of Georgetown College and the University of Cincinnati Dental College, Dr. Beckett practiced dentistry in Ft Thomas, Canton O. and Cincinnati. He was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, Canton. He leaves his widow, Ruth Marty Beckett and two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Early, Warrenton Mo. and Mrs. Jean Oare, Buchanan, Mich. Friends may call from 6 to 9 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
