Highland Avenue, Fort Thomas, became the bride of Private First Class Robert
Uthe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Uthe, 647 Park Avenue, Newport, in a wedding
performed in the Fort Thomas Chapel Wednesday night.
After a short honeymoon in Detroit where the bride is employed by the Federal Government, Private Uthe will return to his post at Hill Field, Ogden Utha. He expects to be called soon for Officers Candidate School.

History has repeated itself in the Uthe family of Newport. In World War I, a son, Robert Uthe, was born when his father, Sergeant Edward Uthe was in France. Sergeant Uthe did not see his son for 11 months.
This son, Sergeant Robert Uthe, now stationed in England, was notified yesterday that he was the father of a daughter born at Speers Hospital Tuesday night. The mother, the former Anna Mae Muller, and the new daughter are doing fine.
The Uthes live at Seventh Street and Park Avenue, Newport.
