Robert Rose died yesterday afternoon at his home 102 Washington avenue, after a mysterious two days illness. He suffered a chill following a plunge in the Ohio River Sunday afternoon and gradually grew worse until his demise 48 hours later.
A physician was summoned Monday night, a short
time after he had lapsed into unconsciousness. His case was diagnosed as
uremia poisoning following acute nephritis. This was probably super
induced by a plunge into the water while in a superheated condition. He
was 23 years old and resided with his mother, Mrs. Sarah Rose.
