Robert Obenesser, 10 years old, Newport, was charged yesterday with stealing birch beer from Bissel's and thereupon confessed his guilt. He had in his possession a book, "Picturesque Europe with Kate Fleming, April l3, 1878, on a flyleaf.
The books is supposed to have been stolen. It is in possession of the chief of police. Robby is young in years but an old offender. He will be tried by Justice Harris this afternoon.
