NEWPORT
CASE OF DROWNING-Yesterday afternoon Esquire Payne held an inquest over the body of a little boy, nine years old, named Robert Folliard, who was drowned in a ravine connected with Licking River nears Swift's mill. The verdict was "accidental drowning."
The little fellow bore the reputation of being the best boy in the neighborhood and had asked his mother let him stay from school, promising to catch some drift wood for her. Soon afterward a little wheelbarrow and a bucket on the edge of the ravine was all that remained of the juvenile driftwood enterprise.
