Pfc. Richard F Trauth, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Trauth, 24
Parkview avenue, South Newport, is recovering from a second wound suffered in
the Korean War, his mother said Friday.
Pfc. Trauth, who sustained a serious neck injury Oct 9, now is in a hospital in Japan. He was wounded previously late in August and received the Purple Heart at that time. He is a graduate of Newport Catholic High School.
