Body of Richard J Shanahn, 56, of 814 Second av. Dayton who died suddenly early Friday at his home was shipped Friday night to the Soldiers Home at Dayton O. Funeral services will be held Saturday.

Shanahan's death was due to apoplexy, according to Dr. Clarence D Hughes, Campbell co. coroner. He was a Spanish American War veteran and formerly lived at the Soldiers Home. He is survived by a sister, sister Magdalene of the Community of St Magdalene, St Paul, Minn.
