Richard Nelson of the County of Campbell for and in consideration of the sum of $2700 by Peter Daniel of the same county in hand paid, sells All the Negroes, good and chattels, household stuff and furniture herein afterwards; particularly mentions that is to say Negroes; Samuel, Moses, Pompey, Juba, Rachel, Dina, Harry, Peggy, Cate, Joe, Crisley and James; one horse, 4 head of horned cattle, 4 feather beds and their furniture and heads, 4 iron Kettles, two pots and one oven, one Cupboard, two earthen dishes, one dozen earthen plates, one tea and coffee pots, each earthen; one dozen cups and saucers, one glass pot, 2 cases Knives and forks and one dozen Spoons and one horse.

Richard Nelson is appointed Surveyor of the road leading from Kennedy's Ferry to Grants Lick in the room and precinct of Enos Daniel and to be assisted by William Rice, Joel Hampton, Enos Daniel's hands and John Corbin to Keep the said road in repair as the Law directs.
Enos Daniel is appointed Surveyor of the road from the Washington road leading toward Augusta in Bracking County from the said Washington road to the Pendleton County line and to be assisted by the hands of Richard Nelson and Wm Thompson, Surveyors in cutting out said road.

On Motion of Richard Nelson, ordered that Andrew Biggs, Jas Hubbard, Garret Daniel and Thomas Logan, or any 3 being sworn to view the way proposed for a road from the mouth of Clear lick branch beginning on the road leading from the Ohio to Grants Lick, to the nearest point on the Ohio river, and report to Court the Conveniences resulting to the public as Well as Individuals if said road be opened.

Indenture made 1 May 1841 between John Nelson and Andrew Biggs, both of the County of Campbell. John has this day sold for the consideration of $700, all right in my Father's estate by a Deed of Gift respecting the land on which my Father occupied in said County adjoining John Barker and Edward Morin on Wells Creek containing 246 acres. Also my respect in my Father's estate respecting his negroes.

On Motion of John Nelson who qualified and together with Andrew Biggs, his security, executed and acknowledged bond in the penalty of $800, conditioned according to law Administration is granted him on the estate of Richard Nelson deceased.
And on motion of said Nelson, Wm H Lacy, Wm J Morin, Thos Logan, Wm M Newman are appointed to appraise the personal estate and slaves, if any of said deceased and report to Court.
Page 279-It is ordered that John Nelson Admr. of Richard Nelson, decd. hand over all the papers of said Richard Nelson deceased to William M Newman, Esqr.

Harriett Agnes Nelson, orphan of Richard Nelson, decd. over the age of 14 years came into court and chose Austin Morris as her guardian who together with William H Lacy and Charles Daniel his security executed and acknowledged bond in the penalty of $200, conditioned according to Law.
