Mr. R Taylor Thornton jr. died yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the residence of his mother, Mrs. Sarah J Thornton, on Sandy lane, after a long illness, from stomach troubles.
The deceased was widely known, and his death will be deeply lamented by a host of friends. He was forty-three years of age and leaves a wife and six children to mourn his demise. His funeral takes place tomorrow from the family residence at 2 o'clock p.m.
