Services for Raymond H Poppe, World War I veteran and an employee of the Andrews Steel Co. Newport, for 22 years, will be held at the John J Radel funeral home, Newport, at 1:30 pm Wednesday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Poppe, who was 44, died late Sunday at his home, 44 Parkview place, South Newport. He was a member of the Cincinnati Aerie of Eagles No 142.
He leaves his widow, Ruth Poppe; three sons, Pvt James Poppe, stationed in Hiroshima, Japan, and Robert and Richard, both at home, and his mother, Mrs. Alice Poppe, Newport.
