Raymond Waldo Mignerey

PVT Ray W Mignerey, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray W Mignery, of 547 Maple avenue, Newport, was wounded in action Dec 14 in the fighting in Germany, according to word received here. Entering the service in July 1943, he was sent overseas in October 1944. He was graduated from Newport High School where he played on the basketball team.
He is now recuperating in a French hospital.
