PVT. Ralph E Trimbur, 25, son of Mr. and Mrs. Al E Trimbur of 218
Fairfield avenue, Bellevue, was killed in action Dec 9? in the fighting on Leyte
Island, the War Department informed his parents. Entering the Army four years
ago, he had been overseas for a year. His father had served as member of the
Bellevue council for many years.
He leaves six brothers and a sister besides his parents. One brother, T Sgt. Eugene Trimbur, has been serving in Pacific theater for the past two years.
