CARS IN COLLISION-Much excitement was caused about 6:30 pm last night when a Bellevue car collided near the Newport end of the L&N bridge. Bellevue and Dayton car No 60 was running just a short distance ahead of Ft Thomas car No 265, when a passenger became ill and stepped to the front platform to get fresh air.

R H Pyne of Cote Brilliante, a carpenter, was thrown violently against the rear of the Bellevue care and sustained two fractured ribs. Drs. Phythian and Stine attended the injured passengers.

COTE BRILLIANTE-The friends of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph H Pyne of Cote Brilliante, will be pleased to learn that they are progressing as well as can be expected after the painful accident on a Ft Thomas car several days ago. Mr. Pyne's broken bones are knitting nicely and his internal injuries are healing fairly well. There is every probability it will leave no permanent effect, and he hopes to be about his business again in the course of a few weeks.

It is feared at present, however, that Mrs. Pyne's injury may prove to be a permanent one.
