Ralph C Loechle

Lt. Ralph C Loechle, previously reported as missing, was
officially listed as killed in action in a message Wednesday to his father,
Frank Loechle, 317 W Seventh street, Newport. A bombardier serving with the
Eighth Air Force, he went down over Germany last April 8.
His wife, Mrs. Lillian Loechle and daughter, Donna Frances, live at the Newport address. The young officer's brother, Sylvester Loechle, is deputy collector of internal revenue at the department's Covington office. Lt. Loechle entered the service in December 1942 and had been overseas two months.
