Two Southgate brothers, sons of Mr. and Mrs. John Guthier, of
Evergreen avenue, Southgate, are serving with the Navy overseas.
Ralph E Guthier, machinist mate second class, who observed his 24th birthday somewhere in the Pacific June 19, has been overseas 27 months. He entered the Navy in August 1942.
His brother, William J Guthier, 18, seaman second class, who entered the armed forces in January is stationed in the Caribbean theater of operations at a naval training base.
