Porter Dryden

Porter Dryden, 40, residing near the corner of Fourth and
Saratoga streets, Newport, died at an early hour yesterday of a complication of
diseases. The deceased was a veteran of the Spanish American War and served
through the Cuban and Philippine campaigns. He was wounded in Cuba and upon his
return home contracted cancer of the liver.
He leaves a wife and several children.
