Philip Koehler was born 23 February, 1821 in Etschberg, Germany and baptized 29 Feb. from the Evangelische Kirche Kusel, son of Philipp Koehler and Katharina Koehler. His confirmation was in 1835, and again states parents names and are Taglohner.

mmigrated 13 May 1842, at the age of 21, from Havre to New York. He was married 19 June 1856 to Anna Karolina Schweitzer at St. Johns Evangelical Church in Wilder, Kentucky. He was naturalized in August 1869 in Newport, Kentucky.Philip died

Pike, in Campbell Co from the St. John's Protestant records.
