Peter Mutz
 

Peter Mutz was born 15 Apr 1843 in Cincinnati O. to Peter and Mary Anna (Gaerman). He joined the Union Army 5 Nov 1861 at Camp Webster Ky. serving as a Private in Company H 15th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry. The 15th Kentucky Infantry Regiment was organized at New Haven, Ky. and mustered in for a three-year enlistment on December 14, 1861, under the command of Colonel Curran Pope. He mustered out in January 1865 returning to Campbell County.

He was never married and died 19 Oct 1922 near Alexandria and was buried in the Alexandria Cemetery.
