NEWPORT
The remains of the late Peter Eyer will be cremated this
afternoon at the Cincinnati Crematory. The funeral services which will be in
charge of the Elks, will take place at the house of his sister on East Fourth
street at 2 o'clock. the pall bearers as selected are Al Grosshardt and Daniel
Hetsch of the family; Casper Knecht and Frank Heil of the Phoenix Building
Association; Edward Bemme and Ed Courtans of the German National Bank and John G
Hersch and George Pagan of the Elks.
The ashes of the deceased will be buried on Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery. His will was opened yesterday, and the first clause therein directed that his body should be cremated. Then follows the disposition of his property, which he equally divide between his brother John and his sister, Mrs. Morris.
