In the County Court in Newport Friday, Judge Hissem entered an order taking Pearl Smith, 10 and Roy Smith, 8, from the custody of their father Joseph Smith, of Bellevue. William Eckeimeier was named as their guardian. He is Superintendent of the Campbell County Orphans Home and the children will be placed in that institution. The father must pay $3 per week for their maintenance.
