DEATH-G Pearce Prather, aged 33, son of Samuel W Prather, agent of the United States Express Company, died Tuesday at the home of his parents, 15 W Fifth Street, Newport. He had been ill with pneumonia for a short time.

LAID TO REST-The funeral of Pearce Prather a prominent young man took place Friday afternoon from the home, 15 West Fifth Street, Newport. Services were conducted by Rev Joseph Lucock of Grace M E Church. There were many floral tributes. The office force were he was employed also sent a tribute.
The pall bearers were: Walter Breyers, Harry Dietz, H H Cushing, W R Johnson, John Waterhouse and Horace F Allen.
