GEORGE PAYNE, the owner of a dairy out on the Alexandria pike,
swore out a warrant yesterday morning for the arrest of Pat Day, on the charge
of stealing chickens.

A SUIT was instituted in the Chancery Court yesterday by Thomas H Kennedy against Payne and others, the dairymen and attachments on their property placed in the hands of the Sheriff. O'Neil, Fennelly and F M Webster Esq. attorneys for the plaintiff.
If Deputy White, who has the attachments, gets possession of the dairy, what will he do with the milk?
