NEWPORT DEATH
The estimable wife of Officer William Trappe died Tuesday morning
at the home on Elizabeth Street. The deceased had been suffering with
consumption and have been unconscious for the past seven days and was
unconscious when death came. The doctors claim that dropsy hastened her death.
A husband and seven children survived her.
