MUSICIAN DIES
Apoplexy Causes Death of Paul Feine of Newport
Paul Feine, 80, former widely known musician and orchestra
leader, was found dead in bed late Monday at his home, 608 Eight-av. Dayton.
Dr. Walter B Hughes, Campbell-co. coroner, said death was due to apoplexy.
Feine's body was found by Mrs. Ilah Fausz, owner of the house in which he roomed, who had become alarmed after she had failed to see him Monday. Peering into a window, Mrs. Fausz saw the body stretched across the bed.
Feine's death followed closely that of his son, Paul Feine, Jr. who died suddenly in the same house of the same cause several months ago. Feine formerly played in orchestras in leading Cincinnati theaters. For some time he was leader of the orchestra at the old People's Theater, Vine-st. Cincinnati. He is survived by two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 pm. at the Vonderhaar & Stetter Funeral Home, Third and Overton streets, Newport, with Rev Paul Reikow, Newport, officiating, Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Members of the Newport Lodge of Elks will meet Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Elks Temple and go to the Vonderhaar & Stetter funeral home and hold services for the deceased who was a member of the lodge.
