BROTHERS DEATHS FOLLOWED CLOSELY

The funeral of Patrick Gill, formerly of Clinton Ind. whose death was caused by blood poisoning, will take place this morning from the residence of his widowed sister-in-law, Mrs. Matthew Gill, on Maple avenue near Eighth.

The story of Gill's death is an unusually sad one.  He and two brothers were Confederate veterans and Patrick was the last of the trio.  He came here from his home to attend the funeral of his brother, Matthew Gill, which only occurred last week.  He was attacked with blood poisoning, as the result of paring a corn too closely and his death followed shortly after that of his brother, whose funeral he had journeyed from his home in Indiana.

The services will be held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception.
