NEWPORT NEWS
DROWNED-A boy named Otho Brauner was drowned in the Ohio River just below the foot of Cabot street, about 7 o'clock on Tuesday evening. He had gone into the river for the purpose of bathing, but getting into deep water and being unable to swim, drowned.
Deceased was sixteen years of age and a lad of more than ordinary intelligence. Esquire Ladd held an inquest on the body. Verdict-accidental drowning.
