Miss Evelyn Frances Coward, daughter of A H Coward of Goldsboro NC, and Mr. Orval (Tom) Sawyer, son of Mrs. Joan Sawyer of 628 Nelson Place, Newport, were married at the manse of First Presbyterian Church Newport, at noon Thursday.
Mrs. Sawyer is on the faculty of Alexandria High School. Mr. Sawyer, who is in the Army Reserve Corps, is a student at Eastern Kentucky Teachers College.
