CALL FOR A UNION MEETING AT ALEXANDRIA
The opponents of secession, and all persons in favor of
sustaining the union of these States, are requested to meet a Alexandria at two
o'clock PM on Saturday, December 29, to appoint delegates to represent the
county of Campbell in the Union Convention to be held at Louisville on the 8th
of January next. "The Union must and shall be preserved."
