FUNERAL OF MRS. FRENCH
The funeral of Mrs. Ollie French, sister of J(ames) E. McCracken, of Newport, and
wife of the late Admiral Jeff. French, veteran of the civil war, who died at the
residence of her daughter, Mrs. May Thurner, in Aurora Indiana., was held in
that city.
Mrs. French was raised and educated in Newport. Col. McCracken left Sunday for
Aurora to attend the funeral.
