Private Nicholas Pablo a member of the Thirtieth Company, Filipino Scouts, died yesterday at the military hospital at Ft. Thomas of consumption, which resulted from a severe cold contracted while doing guard duty at St. Louis, after the close of the Fair. Pablo is the first member of the scouts to die from disease contracted in this country. The deceased was a favorite with the members of his company, and during his illness was shown every attention.
