Newport Races

Newport Races will be run for over the
Newport turf on the 15th instant. The 2 mile heats for a purse of $50,
free for any horse, mare or gelding, being the property of any citizens of
Campbell, Boon, or Pendleton, two months previous to the day of the races.
On the 16th the entrance money of the first and second day to be free for any
three year fole the property of any citizen as above, also the above purses are
free for any three year old fole, the property of any citizen i the county of
Hamilton and Montgomery, in the state of Ohio, two months previous to the date
of the races. The aged horses to carry weights agreeable to the rules of
racing and that to be adjured by the judges of the races.
