Miss Alice Bates entertained the Newport Club at her home in Avondale Tuesday night with cards. The prizes were won by Martha Smith and Dollie Doward, Mr. Hellebush and Carl Hart. Among the guests were; Misses Martha Smith, Byran, Crawford, Southgate, Bedinger, Bates, Doward; Messrs. Hart, Hellebush, G Ross, R Ross, Walton, Adams and Bang.
The next meeting will be held at the home of Miss Martha Smith on Overton Street.
