Finchtown New Name

WANT AN ARISTOCRATIC NAME
Residents of the territory along the Licking pike, just south of
Newport, formerly known as Finchtown, have come to the conclusion that the name
is too plebeian and have chosen the name Andrews instead, which name has benn
adopted by the mercantile agencies.
The immense modern distillery of the Old 76 Distilling Company, the big Andrews steel mill and a number of slaughter houses are located there. Finchtown was named after Colonel Finch in the early fifties.
