Alexandria Court Order Book 4, page 493A, 27 February 1842
Harriett Agness Nelson, orphan of Richard
Nelson decd. over the age of 14 years came into Court and chose Austin Morris
as her guardian who together with William H Lacy and Charles Daniel his
security executed and acknowledged bond in the penalty of $200 conditioned
according to Law.

Peter Nelson, orphan of Richard Nelson decd.
over the age of 14 years came into Court and chose John Ducker as his Guardian
who with Edward Morin, Alexander Caldwell his securities entered into and
acknowledged bond in the penalty of $200 conditioned according to law.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we, Austin Morris, William H Lacy and Charles Daniel, are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the penal sum of two hundred dollars, current money, to the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, as witness our hands and seals, this 28 day of February 1842.
The condition of the above Obligation is such, That if the above bound, Austin Morris, his heirs, executors, and administrators, shall well and truly pay and deliver to Harriett Agness Nelson, of whom he is appointed Guardian, all such estate as now is, or shall hereafter appear to be due from him to the said orphan when they shall attain to lawful age to demand the same, or when thereunto required by the Justices of the Campbell County Court for the time being, and also faithfully execute his office herein, in such a manner as to save harmless and indemnify the said Justices, their heirs, executors, and administrators, from all trouble and damage that about said estate may accrue, then the above obligation to be void-else to remain in full force and virtue.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we, James H Hampton, Thomas G West & William Weaver, are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the penal sum of $1200, current money, to the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, as witness our hands and seals, this 25 day of November 1844.
The condition of the above Obligation is such, That if the above bound, James H Hampton, his heirs, executors, and administrators, shall well and truly pay and deliver to Harriet Agness Hampton, late Nelson, heir of Richard Nelson, dec'd, of whom he is appointed Guardian, all such estate as now is, or shall hereafter appear to be due from him to the said orphan when she shall attain to lawful age to demand the same, or when thereunto required by the Justices of the Campbell County Court for the time being, and also faithfully execute his office herein, in such a manner as to save harmless and indemnify the said Justices, their heirs, executors, and administrators, from all trouble and damage that about said estate may accrue, then the above obligation to be void-else to remain in full force and virtue.
